Wow! Time is sure flying by, it was just 6 months ago today that I was set apart as a full-time missionary and tomorrow it will be 6 months since I began my mission, and I have already learned a lot in the past 6 months that I have been here on my mission, my testimony has grown a lot and my love for the people here in Chino has grown more and more each day, but next week when I write I will be in a Spanish area, I know because President told me, but I wont know where till the end of this week, but I have really enjoyed being able to spend time here and experience English work, what's best is that this week on Saturday we will be having a wedding, actually it's Joanna and Leo the ones who were going to get married a few weeks ago, but this time it is actually going to happen, and then the next day on Sunday Leo will be baptized. I am super excited for it! Leo is a man who truly has a broken heart and a contrite spirit, he really just wants to get baptized, because he knows the importance of baptism, it was crazy because our president met Leo a while ago and he said, because of mis communication with the bishop that he would come and marry Joanna and Leo himself so that he could get baptized. We also got a new investigator, Regina, she is married to a less-active, and well we might have to be patient and work slow because the husband is really bitter and angry but she has a desire to learn more, so it's good news. This past week has been really good, as far as the missionary works, we've had more lessons with less-actives and members then we have had this whole transfer so it's great. Also it's funny because there is a lady in our ward who is determined that we have to be fed every night so she's taken it on but the funny part is she doesn't tell us when they've been planned but luckily we talk with the members somehow before it happens, she's really taking it on calling everyone, which is kind of funny because we don't care about getting fed we just want to get to know the members and build the trust with them, but so many people care about the missionaries. Anyway yup, so i guess that is the life here in San Antonio, I'm sorry I always blank when it comes to emailing, but I guess that's just the way life goes, but before I go, I will leave you with a quote, this is something I want to do at the end of all my emails from here on out. so here it goes
"The best time to plant an oak tree was 25 years ago, the second best time is now!" This is from my district leader in a district meeting, and obviously it just means don't put off what you can do today, I really liked it because so many times we make excuses for why we can't do something today when there is always time, anyway I just really liked it, we can change at any time!
well Love ya all, Love HermanaLove
