1st week in California!!

Well tomorrow I will have been in California for a whole entire week! Crazy! I love it though! My companion is really great she is really nice and we get a long super great! Her name is Sister Ence! This is her 2nd to last transfer so that is pretty crazy! But anyway so this week has totally dominated any week I had at the MTC! I love Missionary work! I also feel really blessed that sometimes I can talk to people in English, because when people speak Spanish I get really lost! Anyway so I don't know where to start hmmm.... Well my first area is in Chino! And we are serving in a Spanish ward along with 4 other elders serving in our ward which makes us a district! I really like my district a lot! Well so far A lot of great things has happened so I'll just highlight a few!

1st day (Tuesday) I had training, met my trainer sister Ence we went To Chino and went to visit a recent convert, and when we went another Recent convert was there with his friend Gilbert who we set up an appointment with and we had family home evening at a less actives house with the other missionaries
Wednesday- half the day we had training but first we walked outside in the morning and sister Ence realized she locked the keys in the Apartment so we called our district leader and they helped us get back in to get our keys so we could go to Arcadia for Training. Later we went to see an investigator to help their kids with their homework (the parents don't speak English but the kids do) I tried Horchata there it's a cinnamon drink and it was way good!! Also we had an appointment with Gilbert and taught the first lesson and he accepted our invitation to be baptized!!!! We were soo excited!!!
Thursday- I don't remember what happened this day!
Friday- We got to leave the mission boundaries and go to downtown LA because Elder L. Tom Perry was here to speak to the LA and Arcadia Missions! So there were tons of missionaries there but it was a way good meeting!
Saturday- We had Mormon helping hands service project! So we went to a skate park and scraped the paint off the fences so they can repaint it! It was way fun! We met with Gilbert again too!
Sunday- 3 hours of pure Spanish and I didn't understand hardly anything, and a boy in the ward was getting baptized and we went to his baptism!

Anyway so exciting things are happening here in Chino! Oh and I do have my bike, but it's at the mission office and I wont be riding it for a while because my companion doesn't have one! Anyway ya the Spanish is a bit overwhelming but it's way fun anyway! I'm liking the sun here too! it's so nice! I am never cold! Yup so I guess that's it for now!

Love, Hermana Love
